Irvine Lake / do they allow testing?

I have heard that Irvine Lake occasionally allows boats to go out and test? I know they have events, like the v-drive regatta coming up on fathers day, but I have heard they also open up from time to time for testing?

Found out you can test there every Wednesday night from 4-7, cost is $50. Anyone want to do this some time soon?

Lake Irvine sounds like a good idea. I would go to test or help out.
