kirkey seats
Forums:
The seat in my GMT is terrible, its very flimsy and offers no support, almost as if its going to snap in the turns. I ordered a Kirkey pro-street seat, and I see that several of you are using them. Question, are people cutting them down, ie cutting the top/ back down, or just running them as is?
Thanks, Walt

My seat is fiberglass but
My seat is fiberglass but both the 45 boat and the 234 boat are using the kirkey. I sat in the 45 boat and it is set-up well as the seat appears to be cut down in the back but holds you in fairly well.

Kevin runs the full height
Kevin runs the full height seat in the #234. It's tall, but offers some helmet support if you sit back. This is especially nice in the Parker 300, where you can rest your head on the seat so your neck isn't taking a constant beating and the weight of the helmet.
